None at all. Every walk and lesson welcomes complete beginners through to confident photographers — beginners are the point. Groups are small and there are no silly questions.
Whatever you've got. Any camera works, and a phone is absolutely fine. The teaching is about learning to see — the camera comes second.
Photowalks are £32 per person for two hours. Private lessons are £148 — and that's the same price for up to four people. The free episodes of See the Street are on YouTube at no cost.
Small on purpose — three to eight people on the Leeds walks, up to twelve in Knaresborough. Small enough for proper attention and proper conversation.
This is Yorkshire, so a bit of weather is part of the deal — some of the best street photographs happen in the rain. If conditions are genuinely foul, the walk is rearranged and your booking carries over to the new date.
